Trent Lock Scout Activity Centre

Long Eaton District Scouts, Derbyshire

The Trent Lock Activity Centre is situated in Derbyshire on the south bank of the River Trent near its junction with the Erewash Canal, south of Long Eaton. It is approached from the north bank of the Trent, where the Scout ferry takes you across the river to the landing stage.

The site offers camping and water activities for Scouts, Guides and other organisations with space for up to 80 campers

Weekend camping is very popular and will typically include sailing, kayaking, canadian canoeing, rafting, pioneering, archery. The facilities include well equipped kitchens, flush loo's, changing rooms.

Day and evening vists are welcome especially by local Beavers, cubs, Scouts, Explorers, Guides and other Groups, particularly Youth Groups Sailing Courses and Canoeing Courses run from time to time.
